Paul's Kitchen

Paul’s Kitchen

Welcome to Paul's Kitchen

Paul Martin is a well-known television personality recognisable to us all. Paul is also a keen supporter of the Smart Steamer Lid and the many benefits it can bring to households in the UK and abroad.

Paul would admit that he is no great chef; however over the last 12 months he has been putting the Smart Steamer Lid through its paces and has attained excellent results.

Now considerably more accomplished, Paul presents below a series of videos plotting his progress from his very own kitchen. Over the coming weeks, Paul will share his Smart Steamer Lid experience cooking meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, beans, grains and eggs. We hope you enjoy his journey!

Episode 1:
Instructions on How to Use The Smart Steamer Lid

Episode 2:
How to Cook Perfect Fluffy Rice

Easy to Use

The Smart Steamer Lid is easy to use; a minimal amount of water (250 ml) is used to cook the majority of foods, owing to the fact that most foods being cooked contain their own moisture content to begin with.

Unlike conventional cooking, once the contents of the pan have reached the necessary temperature you can turn the heat down to a very low number. If the heat is too high, you’ll continue to see steam escaping round the lid; this is your signal to turn the heat down even lower until the steam disappears completely, and the lid depresses to form a seal.

  • 20 servings of rice @ 75g per serving =1500g = 2500 ml water
